[CES 2009] Nokia BH-904, nuevo Headset Bluetooth | Movilae

Uno de las presentaciones de Nokia durante este CES 2009 ha sido este Headset Bluetooth denominado Nokia BH-904 del que podemos destacar su cancelación de ruido externo gracias a sus dos micrófonos o la posibilidad de mantener dos conexiones activas entre el headset y otro dispositivo de manera simultánea. ¿Y para qué nos sirve esto? Pues, para por ejemplo conectar de manera simultánea un ordenador (para VOIP) y un dispositivo móvil compatible con este headset.

En lo que respecta a características, tiene un peso de apenas 18,2 gramos y unas dimensiones de 53×19,7×10,8 mm, su batería ofrece una autonomía en llamada de hasta 5 horas con tan sólo 15 minutos de carga aunque el tiempo máximo de autonomía es de 8 horas. En lo referente a la carga, tenemos dos opciones; bien usando adaptador AC con lo que tardaremos sólo 35 minutos o a través de un cable USB que se conecta al puerto microUSB del dispositivo durante tres horas aproximadamente.

Schoolmaster said he believes drivers can still be distracted and dangerous while talking on a hands-free cell phone.

“Hands-free does not remove the cognitive load, and that’s the problem. When you’re engaged in a conversation on the phone, it’s very demanding. It’s very important to you, and instead of operating the vehicle, you’re somewhere else,” he said.

Reynolds disagrees. In an interview on his Bluetooth-enabled phone as he drove through Evanston, he said he still felt in full control of his car.

“Absolutely. It doesn’t affect me at all. It makes driving seamless,” he said. “There’s nothing that my phone would possibly stop me from doing.”

But Ethan Spotts with the Active Transportation Alliance countered, “You’re still distracted, you’re 22 times more likely to cause a crash” while talking on a phone while driving.

“You’re not in the moment, being part of a safe network of getting around,” He added.
