The 2323 Classic comes with an elegant and simple design. The keyboard is large and comes with a mixture of Hindi and English alphabets and with good reason - I'll explain later. The nav Five-Way Pad is big and comfortable navigation. The device features a 1.8-inch TFT LCD screen sports a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and 65k colors. It is a lightweight and very easy to carry everywhere. On one side, the top has a flap that hides the port of loading port, a proprietary USB port, and a 2.5mm jack for headphones. Operating on a Symbian OS with Series 40 user interface, the handset is quite easy to use.The user interface itself is fluid and smooth. Animation in transition effects give a very friendly and tech-savvy look and feel to it. What bothers me is that while the 2323 has a large screen fonts are too big and options tend to look a little more together, but there are still plenty of space all around. There was no way to reduce the size with the exception of certain options. The handset is equipped with a curiously music player that reads AAC, AMR, and MP3 and a video player that plays 3GP files.What's interesting about this is that it has no support for a memory card and comes with only 32MB of internal space. Nokia does not even include a USB cable to transfer files, but Bluetooth 2.0 is available immediately. The FM radio works very well provided with a recording option as well. A stand alone voice recorder is also present.

The Nokia 2323 Classic is a look back to the times when a mobile phone was just a phone and not a technological exploit of wizardry. This mobile phone is unashamedly straightforward but useful. With the essential functionality it has, it is intended squarely at the budget-conscious market and within that perspective it fits in real good. The mobile phone itself is a rather small unit in comparison to many on the marketplace at the moment, measuring in at 107mm x 46mm and a measly 13mm thick. It is this low profile styling and size which appeals with this phone. The Nokia 2323 Classic is appropriately named. It is a classic device which gives efficient functionality. Even though not excessively gifted with many features, the price clearly reflects this. The Nokia 2323 Classic mobile phone is an extremely useful addition to the Nokia range of mobile phones and adds another dimension to their long list of available handsets.
